We put the America in America’s team. There are other NFL cities, but none quite as unique as Green Bay — home of the Packers. Green Bay is the smallest city in the NFL family, but one of the largest cities in Wisconsin, and subsequently a popular tourist destination. Visitors have long described the Green Bay Area as a small town with big city attractions and accommodations. Attractions

Titletown, home to the Green Bay Packers presents a variety of unique attractions such as the Packers Hall of Fame — the world’s first sports museum dedicated to a single NFL team.

The area is rich in European and Native American history, with many attractions from Heritage Hill Historical Park to Oneida Bingo. Destinations like the NEW Zoo, Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, Joannes Family Aquatic Center, Bay Beach Amusement Park are fun for the entire family.

Shows and concerts also take place at the Weidner Center, as well as the Resch Center. Green Bay also is home to two symphony orchestras, an opera company and a resident ballet troupe. And there’s plenty of shopping, too.

Season highlights

Winter: Ice fishing and skating, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, college basketball, Junior A hockey, shopping malls and Green Bay Botanical Garden Winter Light Show make for a true Wisconsin winter wonderland.

Spring: Professional indoor arena football, college and semi-pro baseball, nature and biking trails, fishing and 18 public golf courses herald spring.

Summer: The summer season brings pleasant temperatures and the popular Bayfest, Artstreet, Festival Foods Fire Over the Fox, Celebrate De Pere and other outdoor celebrations. Water activities, parks, camping, golf, Packers’ Training Camp and much more make summer months in Green Bay great.

Fall: Fall is football season in Green Bay. Enjoy tailgating and the world champion Green Bay Packers. Fall colors also are beautiful in the area and many parks/public trails are accessible.
