Winter: Try out the 75 runs at Granite Peak Ski Area or glide along a cross-country ski trail at the Nine Mile Forest. We have excellent snowshoeing and ice fishing locations and over 800 miles of snowmobile trails to explore.
Spring: A great time to bike the Mountain-Bay Trail, shake the rust off your golf clubs, or test the waters of the Wisconsin River and area lakes.
Summer: Attend an outdoor event like the Big Bull Falls Blues Festival. Camp out at Rib Mountain State Park. Watch world-class kayak competitions or cheer on the Wisconsin Woodchucks baseball team at historic Athletic Park.
Fall: Walk the Ice Age Trail at the Dells of the Eau Claire Park to see miles of fall color. Walk through the Historic Districts or take part in the annual Artrageous Weekend featuring the “Birds in Art” exhibit.
