Manitowoc offers a world-class marina and the waterfront provides many recreational activities including our new six-mile, paved, shoreline recreational trail- the Mariners Trail. The Manitowoc Area offers some of the best fresh water, trophy sportfishing in the nation.

Overlooking beautiful LAKE MICHIGAN, the newly expanded Wisconsin Maritime Museum offers a variety of options for corporate meetings, seminars, presentations and social functions. The new Riverview, Multi-purpose room is conveniently located in the main level with large windows overlooking the Manitowoc River and the USS COBIA WWII submarine. The center can accommodate small board meetings of 10, as well as presentations theater style up to 225. The new roof deck, an outdoor area with a panoramic view of LAKE MICHIGAN, is ideal for receptions and special theme parties. Food service area is available.
The Manitowoc County Ice Center has public skating and over 23,000 square feet for exhibits. The Manitowoc County Expo grounds offer two multipurpose buildings accommodating 750 people each and covered grandstands. The Expo hosts horse and dog shows, car shows and RV gatherings. The Lincoln Park Zoo is a unique spot for a post-meeting box lunch or stroll. Henry Schuette Park boasts Manitowoc's newest community built playground with over 17,000 sq ft of space, featuring towers, mazes, a tunnel bridge, slides, parallel bars, zigzag ladder, rubber bridge, and swings for all ages to enjoy.

Manitowoc is also home to the Rahr-West Art Museum, Natural Ovens Bakery, Pinecrest Historical Village and the Manitowoc County Heritage Center. Enjoy a marvelous maritime experience in Manitowoc.

Spring: The return of the carferry, trophy sportfishing and golf — flowers and crabapple trees burst with blossoms.
